UPDATE – Tapp Middle School Farmers Market

With Spring Break around the corner, our provider for the Farmers market will be on vacation next week.

So the market will be closed, Tuesday, March 31st, the market will return after Spring Break

Please stay tuned for the date as to when it will return.

What’s going on this week!?

Tuesday – FARMERS MARKET IS CANCELLED – for this week only!! The market will return March 31st

Thursday – Parent Input meeting 8:30am – soon to follow will be a short PTSA meeting. If you are interested in being nominated for Secretary or Treasure for the 2015 – 2016 School year, please contact Tavia Barnes 678-573-5712 before Thursday.

Nominees for PTSA 2015-2016

We are currently accepting nominations for the 2015-16 Tapp PTSA board.

If you are interested in being considered for next year or if you would like to nominate someone, please contact any of the current board members. All nominations are due by the end of this week.

We will announce the nominees at the PTSA meeting on Tuesday, March 10th at 6:30pm. We will be electing the new officers at our meeting on April 13th. And if you have any questions about any of the positions,

WATCH DOG KICK OFF – Friday, March 6th at 8:30am

Many of you have been anxiously waiting for this program.  Some of you are wondering what a Watch D.O.GS program is.

Who are WatchDOGS and how does WATCH D.O.G.S. work?

WatchDOGS are fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and other father-figures who volunteer for at least one day each year at an official WATCH D.O.G.S. school.

The program is overseen by a “Top Dog” volunteer who partners with the school administrator to coordinate scheduling and identify opportunities for WatchDOGS to provide assistance at the school. WatchDOG dads and volunteers perform a variety of tasks during their volunteer day including monitoring the school entrance, assisting with unloading and loading of buses and cars, monitoring the lunch room, or helping in the classroom with a teacher’s guidance.

Mark Friday, March 6th at 8:30 – 9:30am  on your calendar and please be in attendance to be trained in how this program will help out our community, students and staff.  We will be in the Auxilliary dining room.

If you are interested, please be prepared to sign up for a day to come to the school, as well as purchase a shirt on line to wear to identify who you are while on school grounds. Click on the link to order your shirt!!

SPIRIT WEAR – Sale is the first Thursday of the month

Spirit wear is only being sold the First Thursday of every month.

Our Zip-up hoodie price has been slashed and they are no longer $25.00 but you can now purchase a hoodie in orange or black for the LOW,LOW, PRICE OF $20.00!!

Come in this Thursday, March 5th 8:45am – 9:15am to purchase your spirit wear. We will be set up in the Auxulliary Dining room, there you will be able to view many items to choose from as well as a few shirts that are on clearence for $5.00!!

You also have the any time convenience of clicking on the following link Tapp Spiritwear order form, print out an order form and send in your form with your funds and we will deliver the items to your student!!

For $20.00 you are able to pick from a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables to feed your family for a week! Acceptable forms of payment are cash, check credit or debit cards.

A portion of the proceds goes to the PTSA toward student incentives
