Dress Down Day

Tapp PTSA will be having a school wide Dress Down Day on Thursday, Sept. 27th. This coincides with school picture day. For $1, students can dress down. PTSA will be collecting the dress down money during home rooms. Students will be given a sticker to wear for the remainder of the day showing that they are participating in the Dress Down Day. Students who dress down but do not purchase the dress down sticker will be given demerits.

Dress Down Attire: Any color of  jeans, pants, shorts with no holes, patches or rips. Any shoes except flip flops, slides or sandals. Shorts, skirts, and dresses must be no shorter than 3 inches above knee. Shirts/Tops must cover abdomen/back. No sleeveless. Tops should not contain profane or inappropriate references.  Refer to Cobb School District Dress Code for further guidance.

 

 

PTSA General Meeting

The Tapp PTSA will be holding its first General Meeting on Thursday, Sept. 20th at 6:00pm. This should be a short meeting. The main purpose is to present the 2012-2013 budget. We will be selling PTSA memberships and spirit wear.

Tapp Literacy Night will begin following the meeting.

Spirit Wear Update

If you pre-ordered a Navy or Light Blue Tapp shirt at Meet & Greet or Open House, they are scheduled to arrive today. We will be distributing them to home room teachers tomorrow morning. We will also be selling spirit wear tomorrow before school for those who did not pre-order. T-shirts are $10, sports necklaces are $5 and flower clips are 2 for $5.

This does not include Spirit Gear Orders which were collected last week. Those orders have been sent and will arrive in approximately 3 weeks after the order is received.
